Obikwa Cuvée Brut NV is a South African bright, fruity sparkling wine made from 100% Chenin Blanc. Bright straw in colour, it shows tropical aromas and delivers a dry fruity palate of tropical fruit tones. Refreshing and lively, it has a light, clean palate with excellent balance the perfect summer bubbly, ideal with light salads and chicken dishes.

Origin & Production

• Wine of Origin: Western Cape
• Vineyards: Grapes sourced from Western Cape vineyards of varying altitude, aspect and slope to build diverse flavours and aromas (Viticulturist: Annelie Viljoen).
• Harvest: Chenin Blanc grapes were hand-harvested at 21°–23° Balling.
• In the cellar: Juice had no skin contact and fermented at 13°–15°C for 12 days. After fermentation the sparkle was created by impregnating the wine with CO₂. Made in the Adam Tas cellars in Stellenbosch.
